The Khatris of Punjab Khatri is a group of warrior clans from the northern Indian region of Punjab. The Khatris are of Vedic descent and the only original Kshatriyas in India. Jatts of Punjab and Jaats of Haryana are the predominant agriculturalist communities in NW India.
